What you will learn

In this course you will learn about the basics of design making, and about specifications and selection of tools used in textile designing and colour separation, whether manual or computerized. You will also learn how to repeat methods, match colours, and redraw and construct patterns with the required accuracy and speed. In this course you will also learn about the types of printing, concepts and types of design, the functioning and methods of film plotting and exposing, as well as the selection of printing table and solvent with respect to the fabric quality. The course will also teach you about the selection of arcandi and type and size of frames required, the adjustment of screens and method of exposing chemicals, using cotting technique in specific environments, as well as how to print all kind of advertisement with screen-printing such as banners, paper printing, sticker printing etc.

Training Outcome

After completing this course, you will be able to properly select equipment for designing, use relevant safety measures, repeat methods both manually and through a computer, as well as color match, redraw, construct patterns, and separate colors and B&W films. You will also have learnt about different printing techniques, design concepts and types, screen making and exposing processes, local & export printing, along with advertisement production with screen printing, drawing and shaping objects, and development of style and templates.
