Overview
Solar photovoltaic installation technicians specialise in learning to perform installation of solar system, including frames, railings, mounting and load management techniques.
What you will learn
In this course, you will learn about the introduction to basic electrical systems, introduction to basic photovaltic (PV) systems, along with installation of and feasibility and designing of solar PV systems. You will also gain understanding of load management, PV pumping, drip irrigation, troubleshooting for solar systems and understand other renewable energy sources as well.

Training Outcome
After completing this course, you will be able to identify the symbols used in electrical drawings, ensure the right connections of instruments, understand ducting and piping, interpret schematic/circuit diagram of the changeover, install the system according to a lay out plan, and read the load using meters/instruments. You will also be able to perform load calculations, connections of batteries, charge controllers, solar panels and inverters.
