Pattern Making (Hosiery)

Overview

This course aims to train participants to make garments on modern line with perfection and economy for domestic purpose as well as industrial and commercial purpose and to bring awareness in participants of modern knowledge and techniques of Pattern Making and Cutting.

What you will learn

In this course, you will learn to make bodice and skirt draft, pattern and block with latest techniques and will be skilled in making patterns of different sizes according to body measurements of ladies and gents. Similarly, you will be able to prepare sleeves, collars and dart shifting according to the need and demands of the market along with having enough skill to join garment industry and open their boutiques. Lastly you will also enhance your skills in pattern making and cutting of ladies, gents and children’s garments.

Training Outcome

At the end of the training, you will be able to know about different styles and variations of pattern making along with having useful knowledge about ladies and gents pattern variations. Similarly, you will learn about the pattern making and working of the industries and will acquire enough knowledge to join the garment industry and will be able to open your own boutiques and would be able to take work orders in bulks. Lastly you will learn about the importance of draft, pattern and final block making before stitching dresses.
