Training Outcome

After completion of this course you will be able to send timely reply to buyers for smooth communication and understand the technical language of the garment industry. You will also have learnt how to prepare cost sheets, time and action sheet, as well as understand printing, embroidery, sewing and dying methods and techniques of different machines. You will also have learnt how to identify/differentiate between the fabrics constructions, calculate the grams per square meter (GSM) of fabrics, check fabric colour in different light sources, calculate the consumption of a garment, calculate the total cubic meter (CBM) of the shipment, and prepare the sheet of an order (profit and loss statement). In addition, you will be able to identify the potential problems in an order, work long hours with efficiency, successfully manage the role as a team player/leader, conduct goal oriented meetings, invite creative options, understand body language and successfully negotiate a business deal with a buyer.
