Owing to vital role of textile industry in economy of Pakistan, the demand of skilled workers of “Textile Weaving” is increasing day by day. That is why the “Textile Weaving” course is developed and being introduced in VTIs to cope with the demand of skilled manpower in textile weaving sector.

At the end of the course, the trainee will be able to use different tools, detect breakage in warp & weft, brief about drawing in, faults checking, folding and packing, know about the function of different lights, installed on weaving loom, take precautionary measures for drawing in, perform reed filling and functions of reed, operate a loom and do loom tuning
The pass outs of this course would be able to:
1. Work in a textile/weaving mill.
2. Work in a small weaving unit.
3. Be self employed by having his own weaving looms.
