The impact we have created

PSDF is the largest skills development fund in Pakistan established as a section 42 (nonprofit) company, set up by the Government of Punjab in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Over the past 10 years, it has funded training for over 500,000 youth across Punjab in 250+ demand-driven trades over six dedicated programs UMEED, AGHAAZ, URAAN, HARYALI, e-TAYYAR and MAHIR through an ecosystem of 500+ training service providers, primarily from the industry and private sector.

How the Role looks like

You will drive & conduct non-program procurement activities in PSDF as per company policies & procedures, procurement rules, industry best practices and regulatory/statutory framework of Pakistan.

The main opportunities and challenges for this role are to
  • Assist in the management of program procurement evaluation activities of Training Service Providers (TSPs) and pre-qualifications with user departments while ensuring compliance with the company’s policies & procedures and departmental KPIs
  • Manage payments to third party evaluation firm invoices after due diligence.
  • Coordination with third party evaluation firm for timely provision of deliverables.
  • Review evaluation results submitted by third-party evaluation firm to ensure compliance with the procurement rules & announce criteria
  • Assist in the management of grievance redressal meetings along with the record of minutes and relevant approvals
  • Vendor management in BSS & E-Tendering for the smooth uploading of POs
  • Preparation of phase-wise program proceedings and ensure that all procurement record is properly maintained for audit purpose
  • Decreasing turnaround times cost savings and streamlining work processes to provide the best possible services to internal customers to achieve the business targets
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager

Are you the right fit for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance or business administration or equivalent or any relevant degree from HEC recognized institution
  • 0-1 year of experience

The required experience for this role requires you to have

  • Good writing & communication skills
  • Analytical skills & reporting skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
  • Should be a good team player
  • Good in problem-solving, proactive, managing conflict resolution & should have multi-tasking skills.
