Getting to know PSDF

Our purpose-You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created-PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab. PSDF has trained almost 300,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab, which includes 180,000+ male and 110,000+ female graduates. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250 demand-driven and market relevant trades across 10 sectors.

How the Role looks like

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:

  1. Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction as well as manpower planning and organizational structure.
  2. Develops talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans. Leads employment branding initiatives. Manage recruitment team to achieve recruitment KPIs and compliance.
  3. Develops guidelines and toolkits to guide HoDs and Managers and employees on conducting effective performance appraisals process. Define and communicate clear performance criteria and linking performance management system with retention, development, and succession planning initiatives.
  4. Assesses training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with HoDs and managers. Designs and creates training modules, online learning modules, and course materials. Delivers in-house training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques.
  5. Develops a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits strategy that fits and is aligned to the organization’s strategy and business goals.
  6. Design and initiate employee engagement activities to achieve desired employee satisfaction score.

Are you the right fit for this job?

To apply you must have:

  1. Master’s degree in in Human Resources / Marketing / Economics / Social Sciences or any relevant / similar degree from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience and 3 years of experience at a senior management level in relevant / similar field
  3. Experience of OD / Performance Management will be preferred.

 To perform effectively as Head Human Resources, the functional requirements are:

  2. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  3. Excellent relationship management skills.
  4. Leadership excellence.
