Getting to know PSDF

Our purpose-You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created-PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab. PSDF has trained almost 300,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab, which includes 180,000+ male and 110,000+ female graduates. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250 demand-driven and market relevant trades across 10 sectors.

How the Role looks like

To Support in scheme designing process as per Organization’s Policy, Regulatory framework, PPRA rules and governance framework given by donor agencies.
The position is also responsible for suggesting out new initiatives for Program Development in launching new schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out research (self or through outsourcing) to identify high growth / employment sectors of economy and trades which provides high employment.
  2. Designing of sector based schemes shifting focus towards employers implemented trainings in line with the outcomes of research ensuring high placement ratio, geographical & gender spread.
  3. Understands requirements, identifies focus areas and sectors according to allocated targets; checks operational viability of scheme based on research and other available sources; Shares the draft program document along with relevant TOR’s and documents outlining the salient feature of Program to supervisor for review and seeks approval.
  4. Collects data and prepares reports with regards to performance indicators for donor agencies and shares with supervisor for review and approval; Incorporates recommendations rendered by supervisor and shares the finalized report with Higher Management through supervisor.
  5. Development of TORS and assisting AM Program Development for all new Initiatives and outsourcing of tasks to Third Parties.
  6. Liaison with internal & external partners regarding R&D and other segment analysis.
  7. Assist AM Program Development in any other activities, duties and responsibilities assigned to him/her from time to time.

What do we expect you to achieve?

To perform effectively as Associate Program Design, the Key Performance Indicators for this role are:

  1. No of schemes designed.
  2. Contribution in completion of total training target set for the year.
  3. Contribution in achievement of training target.
  4. Contribution in completion of trainee target by each cluster.
  5. Contribution in completion of trainee target by each sector.
  6. Contribution in the completion of trainees of yearly target in Soft
    Skills Training Module
  7. Contribution to ensure  Trainees to be assessed through Third
    Party Firm for Core Skills

Are you the right fit for this Job?

To apply you must have:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (Hons) / Master’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Economics / Social Sciences or a relevant / similar degree from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant / similar experience.
  3. Experience in development sector will be preferred.

  1. Excellent presentation& communication skills.
  2. Excellent Problem solving & analytical skills.
  3. Proactive & Self driven.
  4. Good MS Office skills
