You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF is the largest skills development fund in Pakistan established as a section 42 (nonprofit) company, set up by the Government of Punjab in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Over the past 10 years, it has funded training for over 500,000 youth across Punjab in 250+ demand-driven trades over six dedicated programs UMEED, AGHAAZ, URAAN, HARYALI, e-TAYYAR and MAHIR through an ecosystem of 500+ training service providers, primarily from the industry and private sector.

How the Role looks like

You will support the training & OD function in the administration and execution of the organization’s training programs and OD initiatives in accordance with the training and cultural transformation plan to enhance the performance of individual employees.

The main opportunities and challenges for this role are to

• Manage and execute employees’ training and timely enrollment in training programs with the processing of timely payment to training vendors by complying with the approved training process.
• Develop and maintain yearly training calendar by maintaining on an ongoing basis by effective liaison with major training institutes/bodies by developing a good relationship with them.
• Manage HRIS and train employees on HRIS by regularly and timely updating of complete training log & budget.
• Preparation of reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Analyze organizational and individual training records to monitor the effectiveness of internal or external training programs in terms of training hours per employee, training cost per employee etc.
• Assist in the Organization’s Learning Initiatives which will ensure better productivity and results in terms of Performance.
• Assist in conducting employee engagement surveys and other OD initiatives as and when required.
• Assist in implementing and executing the existing Performance Management and recognition framework.
• Any other duties and responsibilities related to the HR department that may be assigned by management.

What do we expect you to achieve?

The main accountabilities for this role include

• Timely registration and payments of training
• Regularly update all training data including calendar and should be available with one click.
• Timely monthly and quarterly budget reporting.
• Ensure that all training feedback is received timely.
• Ensure best practices for Learning & Development related activities
• Timely support of OD initiatives as and when required.

Are you the right fit for the Job?

To apply, you must have

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in HR) from a HEC recognized/accredited university.
• 2 years or above of HR experience preferably in learning & development.

The required experience for this role requires you to have

• Comprehensive understanding of L&D
• Excellent Presentation skills
• Excellent Writing and Communication skills
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office and Reporting)
• Excellent in problem-solving, proactive, & should have good analytical and multi-tasking skills.

To collaborate and perform effectively, the role requires you to

• Build strong relationships with External Teams i.e. Training Firms, Consultant Firms, Trainers etc.
• Build strong relationships with Internal Teams: All PSDF departments.
