Getting to know PSDF

Our purpose-You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created-PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab. PSDF has trained almost 300,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab, which includes 180,000+ male and 110,000+ female graduates. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250 demand-driven and market relevant trades across 10 sectors.

How the Role looks like

You will Provide support to enhance and improve reporting standards as per management’s strategic direction.

The main opportunities and challenges for this role are to:

  1. Preparation of the detailed analysis and preparation of Monthly Dashboard reports in timely manner
  2. Preparation & control of annual budgets and support to various departments for its utilization
  3. Prepare all ancillary information related to quarterly & annual financial statements to resolve Auditors’ queries.
  4. Preparation of information for timely submission of monthly reports to internal & external stake holders
  5. Responsible for fulfilment of information requisitions of Government Auditors.
  6. Coordinate with all departments to compile replies on observations raised by Government Auditors.
  7. Prepare the working papers for DACs/SDACs
  8. Coordinate with Audit, Risk & Compliance department to provide timely and accurate financial information to resolve compliance queries.
  9. Preparation of information for timely submission of monthly reports to internal & external stake holders

Are you the right fit for this Job?

To apply, you must have

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Account/ Finance, CA Finalist/ ACCA or any similar/ relevant degree from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant / similar experience with reputed organizations

The required experience for this role requires you to have

  1. Knowledge of IFRS & companies’ ordinance
  2. Knowledge ERP systems from operations point of view
  3. Expertise in MS Office i.e. Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  6. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  7. Meticulous attention to detail
