Training Outcome

After completing this course, you will be able to take measurements for a pattern, learn the difference between taking measurements for males and females and learn how to develop these into a block pattern. This unique course will also have taught you how to convert a design into an initial pattern and develop it according to specifications. In addition to this, you will also be familiarized with fundamental concepts and methods of technical design in production development, elements of technical design including technical sketching and documentation. You will also learn how to develop patterns for mass production, assess proper fittings and adjustments, apply muslin templates to mannequins with attention to specification and fitting and develop linings, cutting, facings, fusible, stays and stampers for tops and bottoms.
