CAD/CAM Computerized Pattern Designing

Overview

This course will allow trainees to learn CAD/CAM computerized pattern (whereby they will engage in designing systems, conceptualizing and measuring patterns and creating a readymade garment).

What you will learn

In this course you will learn about basic systems in IT including IP addresses, access rights, MS office, network sharing and files conversion. You will also learn about fashion, PDS and its versions, as well as relevant CAD software and pattern designing.

After completion of this course you will be able to increase the technical manpower for CAD/CAM computerized pattern designing and fulfill the technical requirements for garment industry. You will have learnt how to develop a manual pattern and also be able use relevant measuring tools and measuring concepts. In addition to this, this will course will allow you to understand how to make garments, operate Gerber grading software, digitize as well as create and maintain data storage and also calculate fabric consumption.
