Our purpose

You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How The Role Looks Like

Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF), under its industry-led workforce development initiatives, invites applications from qualified Technical Skills Trainers for deployment at On-the-Job Training Centres (OJTCs) established within partner textile and garment industries across Punjab and Sindh.

The initiative aims to enhance employability, productivity, and career progression of women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) by delivering demand-driven, factory-based skills training aligned with industry requirements.

Trade Areas May Include (but not limited to):

  • Garments & Apparel Production
  • Industrial Sewing & Machine Operations
  • Cutting, Stitching & Finishing
  • Quality Control & SOP Compliance
  • Multi-skill / Multi-machine Operations

What do we expect to achieve?

The key performance indicators for this role are:

  • In this role, your primary objective is to transform unskilled or semi-skilled trainees into highly productive, industry-ready professionals.
  • You are expected to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and factory-floor realities by delivering hands-on training that meets global standards.
  • Ultimately, your success will be measured by the improved employability and technical proficiency of your trainees, directly contributing to the operational efficiency and inclusive growth of our partner industries.

Are you the right fit for this job?

  • Education: Matriculation or above (preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a technical trainer / instructor
  • Industry Exposure: At least 2 years of experience in textile / garment manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of industrial production processes and factory operations
