Getting to know PSDF

Our purpose

You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How the Role looks like

This position is responsible for conducting research-driven recommendations for the design and development of new PSDF training programs and initiatives. It leads the growth and expansion of digital verticals within PSDF programs while overseeing reporting and analytics to enhance program operations.

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:

  1. Lead the designing and development of programs and feedback-gathering activities of PSDF’s training programs.
  2. Lead the reporting and data analysis functions of the Program Development team and prepare data visualizations and presentations from PSDF’s business data in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Identify areas of gathering feedback and develop methodologies for end-to-end TSP engagement to improve reporting for all PSDF training programs.
  4. Maintain working relationships with existing and potential training providers for feedback-gathering purposes.
  5. Assist in the development of operational viability of programs based on feedback reporting and develop business cases for new and on-going programs.
  6. Support the PD Team in the development of Program target plans based on future PSDF targets, past performance of training programs and approved operating procedures.
  7. Assist in the planning and execution of training need analyses/identification exercises to identify the skills training requirements w.r.t. employers / sector-focused training / new training interventions.
  8. Assist in the development of validation studies with the respective stakeholder groups (youth, industries, subject matter experts, and TSP’s) to authenticate/validate the skills gap concerns.
  9. Identify new opportunities for the growth and development of PSDF’s Digital Verticals.
  10. Assist in the development of PSDF’s LMS.
  11. Assist the onboarding of relevant consulting firms to design materials for CBT, E-learning, instructor-led, and blended-learning courses for PSDF’s Digital Verticals.
  12. Assist in the onboarding of instructional designers/developers to establish clear, behavioral-based, relevant learning objectives for new or updated offerings in PSDF’s Digital Verticals.
  13. Review and validate designs with instructional designers/developers at key development milestones.

What do we expect you to achieve?

The main accountabilities for this role include:

  1. Leading the design, development, and feedback gathering for PSDF training programs.
  2. Overseeing data analysis, reporting, and visualization to improve program operations.
  3. Maintaining relationships with training providers, employers, and trainees for feedback collection.
  4. Supporting the expansion of digital verticals, assisting in LMS deployment, and integrating digital programs.
  5. Ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  6. Working with consulting firms, industry associations, and TVET establishments to enhance curricula and identify new opportunities.

Are you the right fit for this Job?

To apply, you must have:

  1. Bachelor’s (Hons) in Business Administration/ Economics/ Social Sciences or a relevant/ similar discipline from an HEC-recognized/ accredited university.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in a relevant/similar field.
  3. Experience in Program Management / Program Execution will be preferred.

  3. Excellent research and report-writing skills.
  4. Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills.
  5. Knowledge of project management: ability to design, plan, and end-to-end implementation of complex projects to their success.
  6. Understanding of data quality audit techniques
  7. Ability to conduct a cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI in terms of impact.
