Our purpose
You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.
The impact we have created
PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How The Role Looks Like?
The Specialist – Digital Programs will support the effective design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of digital and skills development programs by assisting in research, curriculum enhancement, stakeholder coordination, performance tracking, and integration of digital solutions to ensure programs remain aligned with industry needs and organizational objectives.
The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:
- Provide support in managing digital and skills development programs across all stages, including design, planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Assist in updating and revising training curricula to ensure alignment with evolving industry requirements, labour market needs, and digital trends.
- Conduct research and compile data to support evidence-based program design, including sectoral analysis, trade mapping, geographic targeting, and beneficiary segmentation.
- Conduct labour market research, skills gap assessments, employer consultations, and sectoral studies to inform demand-driven skills development initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define program deliverables, timelines, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Engage with industry partners, employers, training providers, academia, government departments, and development partners to gather inputs for program design and implementation.
- Support the implementation and integration of digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), blended learning models, and other technology-enabled solutions to enhance program efficiency, outreach, and monitoring.
- Track program activities, monitor progress, and assist in collecting and analyzing performance data to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of skills development initiatives, with a focus on digital innovation and technology-enabled training delivery.
- Prepare program progress reports, presentations, dashboards, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with vendors and partners to support timely and effective execution of program activities.
- Assist in the development of concept notes, proposals, implementation plans, budgets, costing frameworks, and business cases for skills development initiatives.
- Research emerging technologies, artificial intelligence applications, digital economy trends, and future workforce requirements to support innovative program design.
- Ensure program designs align with organizational priorities, government policies, donor requirements, labour market needs, and national skills development strategies.
- Support the identification of innovative approaches, strategic partnerships, and technology-enabled solutions to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
- Review program performance data, beneficiary feedback, and evaluation findings to generate insights and recommend improvements for future programming.
- Support special projects and organizational priorities related to workforce development, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and economic inclusion as assigned by management.
Are you the right fit for this job?
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Economics / Social Sciences or any relevant/similar degree from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant/similar field.
- Experience in Program Management/Program Execution/ Program Design will be preferred.
