You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF is the largest skills development fund in Pakistan established as a section 42 (nonprofit) company, set up by the Government of Punjab in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Over the past 10 years, it has funded training for over 500,000 youth across Punjab in 250+ demand-driven trades over six dedicated programs UMEED, AGHAAZ, URAAN, HARYALI, e-TAYYAR and MAHIR through an ecosystem of 500+ training service providers, primarily from the industry and private sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create content for PSDF’s social media pages including but not limited to story creation and social media engagement using platform functionalities
2. Support the department in executing and coordinating any internal and external marketing & communication activities
3. Create and edit video content for PSDF internal and external social media platforms using platforms features
4. Support team in filming and coordinating success story interviews
5. Competent in posting social media posts, creating, understanding social media analytics and maintaining content calendars

PSDF’s Marketing & Communications Department is looking for a creative and digitally savvy intern to join its team. PSDF is Pakistan’s largest skill development fund and is a playing a leading role in developing the skillsets of youth in Punjab.  The Marketing &Communications department heads the creative direction and execution of large-scale national marketing campaigns to mobilize youth for skilling programs.

The ideal candidate for this will have an energetic attitude and a strong knowledge of social media usage and popular social media trends, and bloggers in Pakistan.

Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing and Communications or Graphic Design is preferred

• Create content for PSDF’s social media pages including but not limited to story creation and social media engagement using platform functionalities
• Competent in Canva or other graphic designing software and application
• Competent in using Zoom, Skype, and other online video conferencing applications
• Knowledge of video and photo-editing applications and software
• Competent in using video and photography equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good people skills and networking abilities
