Our purpose

You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How The Role Looks Like

  • Manage official correspondence with Government Departments, P&D, Finance, and AG Office regarding SMDP schemes, fund releases, and accounts matters.
  • Coordinate PC-I preparation, amendments, approvals, and maintain tracking of scheme progress and documentation.
  • Follow up on funds releases, placement of funds, and prepare financial summaries, utilization reports, and reconciliation updates.
  • Maintain proper record-keeping, filing, and compliance with government SOPs, audit requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Liaise with internal teams and support senior management through briefings, reports, and official submissions

What do we expect to achieve?

  • Ensure timely government coordination and approvals through effective official correspondence.
  • Facilitate smooth fund releases, placements, and accurate financial follow-ups.
  • Maintain strong compliance, proper documentation, and audit-ready records.
  • Improve monitoring and reporting of SMDP schemes for better management decisions

Are you the right fit for this job?

  • Bachelor’s (Hons) in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce from an HEC-recognized university, or CA Finalist/ ICMA part-qualified/ ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in budgeting and reporting within reputable organizations
  • Knowledge of SMDP Portal and PC-I case processing for government approvals
  • Experience liaising with P&D Department, AG Audit, Treasury Office, and other government bodies for project approvals and fund releases
  • Familiarity with Asaan Assignment Account and NBP/banking-related matters
