Our purpose

You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How the Role looks like

This role involves managing end-to-end HR operations, from recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement to performance management and offboarding. It requires a proactive approach to streamline HR processes, maintain accurate employee records, and support strategic HR initiatives in collaboration with leadership.

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:

  1. Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and onboarding processes.
  2. Manage HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate records, HRIS data integrity, and compliance.
  3. Prepare and present HR reports on metrics, recruitment trends, and employee engagement activities.
  4. Drive employee engagement initiatives, address concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive workplace culture.
  5. Oversee performance management processes, ensuring timely reviews, feedback, and follow-ups.
  6. Design and implement employee training and development programs to enhance skills and performance.
  7. Collaborate with leadership on HR planning, policy updates, and continuous process improvements.
  8. Manage offboarding processes, ensuring smooth exits and proper knowledge transfer.

The key performance indicators for this role are:

  1. Timely and accurate support in recruitment and onboarding.
  2. Ensure proper maintenance of employee records and HRIS.
  3. Assist daily HR operations and support the line manager.
  4. Coordinate HR meetings, documentation, and activities.
  5. Contribute to HR initiatives like engagement and branding.

Are you the right fit for this job?

To apply, you must have:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Human Resource, Business Administration, Management Sciences, or any relevant / similar degree from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant/similar field.

The experience for this role requires you to have:

  1. Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
  2. Excellent record-keeping skills.
  3. Good knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
