Our purpose

You will be part of the largest skills development fund in Pakistan. PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How the Role looks like

This position is responsible for supporting core HR operations, including recruitment assistance, maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding activities, and managing HR documentation. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth execution of day-to-day HR tasks and accuracy in HR data.

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:

  1. Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening applications, and preparing shortlisting summaries.
  2. Conduct reference checks and assist in issuing employment documents.
  3. Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new employees; maintain updated records.
  4. Maintain employee database and prepare HR reports as needed.
  5. Ensure timely updates of employee data in personnel files and HRIS.
  6. Manage attendance records on HRIS and support audit compliance.
  7. Assist in executing employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding and exits.
  8. Support line manager in daily tasks and HR operations.
  9. Coordinate and document weekly HR meetings.
  10. Help update organizational charts and job descriptions periodically.
  11. Contribute to employer branding initiatives and engagement activities
  12. Stay informed on latest HR trends and best practices.
  13. Provide general support across all HR operations for smooth execution of tasks.

What do we expect you to achieve?

The key performance indicators for this role are:

  1. Timely and accurate support in recruitment and onboarding processes.
  2. Proper maintenance and updating of employee records and HRIS.
  3. Active assistance in daily HR operations and support to the line manager.
  4. Effective coordination of HR meetings, documentation, and employee-related activities.
  5. Willingness to learn and contribute to HR initiatives, including engagement and branding efforts.

Are you the right fit for this Job?

To apply, you must have:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Human Resource, Business Administration, Management Sciences, or any relevant / similar degree from an HEC-recognized / accredited university.
  2. 0 – 1 year of experience in a relevant/similar field.

The experience for this role requires you to have:

  1. Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
  2. Strong record-keeping and organizational abilities.
  3. Good understanding of HR functions and practices.
  4. Clear written and verbal communication; works well under pressure.
