The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

How The Role Looks Like?

The Management Associate, Business Development (Private Sector) will support PSDF’s efforts to identify, engage, and develop partnerships with private sector organizations, corporates, foundations, and other potential funding partners. The role will provide hands-on exposure to business development, corporate partnerships, CSR, philanthropy, and innovative financing while contributing to the expansion of PSDF’s private sector partnership pipeline. The incumbent will support market research, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, pipeline tracking, and coordination of partnership activities in alignment with PSDF’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Support Private Sector Business Development

  • Conduct research to identify potential corporate partners, foundations, industry associations, and organizations with CSR, philanthropy, or workforce development initiatives.
  • Support the identification and mapping of prospective partners based on PSDF’s strategic priorities and areas of intervention.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating a structured pipeline of prospective partners, including engagement status, potential opportunities, and follow-up actions.
  • Support the team in identifying new business development and partnership opportunities.

Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support communication and coordination with private sector organizations, CSR teams, foundations, and other external stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing meeting briefs, presentations, concept notes, proposals, and other engagement materials for prospective partners.
  • Participate in meetings and stakeholder engagements and ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Support the development of partnership proposals and value propositions aligned with partner interests and PSDF’s objectives.

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct desk research on corporate CSR priorities, philanthropic trends, industry developments, and potential funding opportunities.
  • Compile and analyze relevant information to support business development strategies and decision-making.
  • Prepare partner profiles, sector scans, opportunity assessments, and other analytical materials as required.
  • Support benchmarking and identification of emerging private sector partnership models and funding mechanisms.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities, stakeholder engagements, leads, and partnership opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing monthly pipeline updates, progress reports, and other management reports.
  • Track follow-ups, deliverables, and timelines related to partnership engagements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and organization of business development records and correspondence.

Team & Cross-Functional Support

  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information required for proposals, presentations, and partner engagements.
  • Support the planning and execution of partner meetings, events, and other business development activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening PSDF’s private sector engagement.
  • Perform other tasks related to business development and partnership development as assigned.

Are you the right fit for this job?

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Honors) or Master’s degree with Public Policy, Business Administration, International Development, Economics, or a relevant discipline from a HEC recognized / accredited university.
  • 0-6 Months Experience. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

  • Strong interest in business development, corporate partnerships, CSR, philanthropy, development finance, or public-private partnerships.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional presentations, briefs, proposals, and reports.
