PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

The Specialist IT Infrastructure & Networks will Maximize the performance of IT infrastructure by directing the daily, weekly, and monthly activities. To provide leadership, motivation, training, and development of the workforce; Process and procedure development to achieve operational excellence. Provide event driven operations monitoring, performance tracking and auditing capability.

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be:

• To perform various IT Infrastructure Administration tasks including the following areas of responsibility:
• Data Center Management
• Core Network Infrastructure
• Firewalls, Routers and Switches
• Implement policies and procedures to meet service expectations and quality for Operations for PSDF users through Firewall/Domain Controller.
• Review the IT infrastructure to meet upcoming needs and expansion plans of the company.
• Servers Management and their uptime assurance.
• Deploy, configure, and update Domain Controller Group Policies.
• Deploy, configure, and upgrade network software’s, such as enterprise antivirus or other remote support programs.
• Office 365 / MS Exchange Management.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect IT Infrastructure from Internal/External attacks.
• Procurement of IT Equipment & Services through Public Tenders with contracts.
• Coordination with Principals / Vendors on all IT related purchases including laying down technical specifications and selection of HW/Networking components.
• Performing preventive maintenance activities of Network/Servers/Data Center under SLA.
• Deploy, configure, and administer H3C CAS (Cloud Automation System) virtualization infrastructure.
• Manage H3C Unified Infrastructure System (UIS) virtual environments.
• Create and manage virtual machines, resource pools, clusters, virtual switches, and storage pools.
• Administer and maintain the organization’s Cloud-based Disaster Recovery (DR) environment.
• Prepare technical specifications, Bills of Quantity (BoQ), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and evaluation criteria for IT procurements.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in IT, Computer Science or Software engineering or a relevant/ similar degree from HEC recognized/accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 yearsof relevant experience.
• CCNA, HCNA or MCSE certificated will be preferred.
