Overview

Out of the 2 million youth entering the workforce every year, 60% are in low or unstable jobs and 35% are engaged in unpaid work, COVID-19 has further exacerbated the already grim picture of Pakistani youth’s current employment levels. Pakistan Finance Ministry fears the loss of over 3 million jobs including skilled labour and blue-collar engagements.

Declining formal employment opportunities coupled with government’s increasing support to foster small to mediums scale enterprises are giving rise to a surge in self-employment. Moreover, COVID-19 crisis has had harsh effects on learning, making traditional training delivery nearly impossible.

PSDF has formulated this course on ‘’Entrepreneurship’’ to help you tap into self-employment as a means of sustainable income generation and give you the opportunity to continue learning through digital mediums.

Training Outcome

The program envisages the cultivation of the entrepreneurial spirit in trainees and will equip them with the skills necessary to set-up and grow their own ventures thus making them economically independent. After successful completion of Course, Trainees will be able to:

-Identify Potential Business Opportunities & related SWOT
-Establish a legal status of Business
-Create financial identity of Business
-Write a Business Plan to apply under the loan schemes (Kamyab Jawan & Women Refinancing Scheme).
