Overview
This course will allow trainees to specialize in handling electrical wiring of cars and commercial vehicles, diagnosing and repairing faults and installing new electrical components.
What you will learn
In this course you will learn about basic electric terms, along with names and application of different workshop tools, various electrical components and their operations and functions including the construction and function of batteries, self-starters, alternators, voltage regulators, and relays. You will also be introduced to various electrical components and different circuits applied in car wiring. This course will further assist you in understanding wiring diagrams of popular automobiles in the country.

Training Outcome
After completing this course you will be able to use Auto Electrician workshop tools and equipment efficiently, develop knowledge related to maintenance and charging of batteries, perform simple workshop techniques-such as attaching wires in series and parallel circuits, making testers, jumper wires, soldering, tapping, sleeving and connecting thimble etc. You will also learn to assemble and disassemble self-starters, AC-generators to check and service, install components, switches, fuses and relays, wire up the electrical circuits, locate all electrical faults in automobiles and rectify them.
