Our purpose

PSDF’s purpose is to shape the future and well-being of our poor and vulnerable youth by giving them access to skills training of the highest standard so they can find sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities in Pakistan and beyond.

The impact we have created

PSDF started its operations in the 4 poorest districts of Punjab. Since 2016, the geographical remit has expanded to the entire 36 districts of Punjab and other districts of Sindh, Balochistan & KPK. PSDF has trained almost 600,000 underprivileged youth across Punjab. These graduates have been trained in approximately 250+ demand-driven and market-relevant trades across 8 sectors.

Assist in program design, curricula development, development and in line with department overall objectives

The primary job responsibilities for this role will be to:

1. Support in designing sector-based schemes shifting focus towards employers implemented trainings in line with the outcomes of research ensuring high placement ratio, geographical & gender spread.
2. Support in execution of ongoing schemes and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.
3. Understands requirements, identifies focus areas and sectors according to allocated targets; checks operational viability of scheme based on research and other available sources; Shares the draft program document along with relevant TOR’s and documents outlining the salient feature of Program to supervisor for review and seeks approval.
4. Collects data and prepares reports with regards to performance indicators for donor agencies and shares with Line Manager for review and approval; Incorporates recommendations rendered by supervisor and shares the finalized report with Higher Management through supervisor.
5. Support Line Manager in all new Initiatives.
6. Assist  Line Manager in any other activities, duties and responsibilities assigned to him/her from time to time.

The main accountabilities for this role include:

1. Contribution in completion of total training target set for the year 10%.
2. Contribution in achievement of 10% women training target.
3. Contribution for support in program execution 50%
4. ⁠Contribution in achievement of employment targets 30%

To apply, you must have:

1. Bachelor’s degree (Honors), in Management / Economics, or equivalent from HEC-recognized/ accredited university.
2. 0 – 2 years of experience.

The experience for this role requires you to have:

1. Excellent presentation & communication skills.
2. Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills. Proactive & Self-driven.
3. Good MS Office skills.
